Directions to the Visitor CenterWherever you're headed on campus, we suggest you make the FSU Visitor Center your first stop. We'll start you off with parking information, maps and suggestions to get the most from your campus visit. Please note that Tallahassee is in the Eastern Time Zone. To save time and avoid a parking ticket, you'll want to follow the directions below to Visitor Parking and leave your car there. The Visitor Parking lot is located near the Visitor Center at Doak Campbell Stadium, within walking distance of any campus destination. Prefer not to walk? Free shuttle service is provided throughout campus, with buses arriving at most stops every 10 to 20 minutes. There's a bus stop just a few steps from the Visitor Center. FROM TALLAHASSEE REGIONAL AIRPORT:Leaving the airport, turn left onto Capital Circle. Drive 3.4 miles to Highway 20/Highway 366 (Blountstown Hwy.) and turn right. After turning right, stay in the right lane, going straight on Highway 366 (Pensacola Street.) DO NOT TURN LEFT onto Highway 20. Go straight (east) on Pensacola Street for 2.7 miles and turn right onto Stadium Drive. At the next traffic light, turn left on Hendry Street, then right onto Champions Way at the stop sign. (You are now in the stadium parking area.) Turn right at the second parking lot entrance on your right, then left into Visitor Parking. (To avoid a parking ticket, please be sure to drive through the gates next to the grey parking booth; other entrances lead to student and faculty lots.) To locate the Visitor Center, look for "Unconquered," the large bronze horse and rider on Champions Way. Use the large glass entrance across the street from it. The Visitor Center is the first office on the left, on the first floor. TRAVELING EAST ON INTERSTATE 10:Take Exit 192, which will put you on US Highway 90. Drive about 7.3 miles east on Highway 90 and turn right onto Ocala Road. Drive about 0.5 miles south on Ocala Road to Pensacola Street, and turn left. Drive about 0.7 miles east on Pensacola Street to Varsity Drive and turn right onto Varsity Drive. At the next traffic light, turn left onto Hendry Street, then right onto Champions Way at the stop sign. (You are now in the stadium parking area.) Turn right at the second parking lot entrance on your right, then left into Visitor Parking. Continue on Highway 90 (also called Tennessee St.) for another 8 miles and turn left onto Monroe Street (Highway 27). Drive 3 to 4 blocks south on Monroe and turn right onto College Avenue. Go west on College until it ends (about half a mile) and turn left onto Copeland Street. Drive two blocks south on Copeland and turn right onto Pensacola Street. Go west on Pensacola about half a mile and turn left onto Varsity Drive. (The University Center (Doak Campbell Stadium) is on your right.) Following Varsity around to the right, drive half a mile and turn right onto Hendry Street. Turn right again at the stop sign. (You are now in the stadium parking area.) Turn into the second parking lot entrance on your right, then left into Visitor Parking. The Visitor Center is the first office on the left, on the first floor. TRAVELING SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 319 (THOMASVILLE ROAD):As you approach Tallahassee, Highway 319 becomes Thomasville Road. When you pass Killearney Way/Maclay Blvd., stay to the right, on Thomasville Road. (Do not follow Highway 319 as it veers left onto Capital Circle.) After you cross under Interstate 10, stay on Thomasville Road for about 4 miles and turn left onto Monroe St. (US Highway 27). Continue south about 6 blocks to College Avenue and turn right. Take College west until it ends (about half a mile) and turn left onto Copeland Street. Drive two blocks south on Copeland and turn right onto Pensacola St. Go west on Pensacola about half a mile and turn left onto Varsity Drive. (The University Center (Doak Campbell Stadium) is on your right.) Following Varsity around to the right, drive half a mile and turn right onto Hendry Street. Turn right again at the stop sign. (You are now in the stadium parking area.) Turn right at the second parking lot entrance on your right, then left into Visitor Parking. The Visitor Center is the first office on the left, on the first floor. TRAVELING WEST/NORTH ON US HIGHWAY 27 (APALACHEE PARKWAY):Apalachee Parkway ends at the Capital Building. Get into the inside right turn lane there, and turn right onto Monroe Street. Get into the inside left lane immediately. Turn left onto Jefferson Street. Stay on Jefferson as it curves to the left and becomes Pensacola Street. Drive about 8 blocks west on Pensacola and turn left onto Varsity Drive. (The University Center (Doak Campbell Stadium) is on your right.) Following Varsity around to the right, drive half a mile and turn right onto Hendry Street. Turn right again at the stop sign. (You are now in the stadium parking area.) Turn into the second parking lot entrance on your right, then left into Visitor Parking. (To avoid a parking ticket, please be sure to drive through the gates next to the grey parking booth; other entrances lead to student and faculty lots.)
