Visit Suggestions

For prospective students and their families, we offer a choice of activities:

Take a Campus Tour

This is a great way to learn more about Florida State. Plan on spending approximately 90 minutes as a University Ambassador guides you throughout our beautiful grounds.

Tours times and offerings are subject to change due to inclement weather.

Attend an Admission Information Session

An Admission Officer conducts this 45-minute session covering the application process, admission requirements, and more. This session is available to prospective undergraduate students and families, but is especially valuable for high school juniors and their parents.

Visit our Residence Hall Showroom

We encourage you to take a peek at our residence hall showroom located at the historic Suwannee Room – a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner.

Optional Program Activities

Some colleges, departments, or programs offer information sessions for prospective students throughout the academic year. To get the most out of your visit, please check the calendar as these special sessions are not offered daily.
