Campus Walking Tour: A University Ambassador will lead you on a two-hour walking tour. Guests set out from the Visitor Center and walk across our Tallahassee campus, learning about academic programs, student engagement opportunities, and visiting a residence hall along the way.
College of Motion Picture Arts Tour: TThis event takes place at the College of Motion Picture Arts in University Center, Building A (UCA). (Available Dates) Each session provides an overview of the program curriculum, application requirements, and the admissions process for the BFA in Production and the BFA in Animation and Digital Arts. Immediately following the information session, you'll tour the facilities, hear from students, and meet available faculty (depending on the day's class and production schedules).
Prospective MFA students are welcome to attend the information session, or they can join the tour at 11:00 a.m. on Fridays or 3:00 p.m. on Monday afternoons, followed by an information session that details the program curriculum, application requirements, and the admissions process.
College of Engineering Tour: The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering offers a tour of their facilities on Fridays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please visit the Registration page to schedule your tour.
We offer the following specialized sessions at various times of the year at the Visitor Center. The availability of these sessions varies based on visitor traffic and holidays. Sessions will be selected during your visit registration.
Freshman Admissions Information Session: During this thirty-minute session, we'll review the freshman application process and provide information about academic scholarships, on-campus housing, and other items of interest for prospective students.
Financial Aid Information Session: During this thirty-minute session, the Office of Financial Aid will discuss completing the FAFSA, as well as review the types of federal aid that are available at FSU.
Study Abroad Opportunities at FSU: During this thirty-minute session, International Programs will discuss the variety of study abroad opportunities available at one of our many study centers around the world.
Transfer applicants are encouraged to meet individually with a Transfer Admission Officer in the Office of Admissions while visiting campus. The transfer application process may vary depending on the number of transferrable credit hours and the planned major or program of interest.

The Office of Admissions is open for walk-in appointments from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The Office of Admissions is located at the DeVoe L. Moore University Center, Building A, second floor.
We encourage accepted students to visit campus in the spring after admission decisions have been released. Registration for visiting campus will open on the Application Status Page after the acceptance has been posted. As an accepted student, you may want to attend a "What's Next" session, where you'll learn more about the enrollment process. You and your family will be guided on a campus tour, where you'll see a classroom, residence hall, and dining facilities. Additional sessions about financial aid, university housing, and study abroad opportunities will also be available on these days.
If you would like to meet with a department while you're visiting campus, you're welcome to contact the department to schedule a meeting. Contact information for each major can be found in the Academic Guide in the Program Description. The Academic Guide is an excellent resource for information about the 160+ majors offered at Florida State University.
During peak visit-times, we may not be able to accommodate all requests for a group tour of campus. If you are unable to register for a tour on the day you would like to visit, you are able to take a self-guided campus tour. You can access this tour through the myFSU mobile app, which will direct you through the highlights of our beautiful campus. Please be aware, that while campus is open to the public, some buildings may be closed or inaccessible during a self-guided tour.
